Hello one and all another mercedes newbie here . C250 BE estate crap Head light its like driving on a 20 or 30w bulb

Can any of you help with a main beam (lack of) of my C250 .
To say its rubbish I would get better vision from a touch .
Ideas please

Hello and welcome

Worth cleaning/polishing the headlights to remove any scratches. Then fitting some osram night breakers and checking that the alignment is correct

I had a look the bulbs weren't fitted correctly by the last owner .
But argeed I will get osram night breakers .

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone specifically mention the C class but it does seem this era of Merc’s with halogens as OEM are truly shite making a chocolate tea look very useful in comparison. If your lamps are in good condition then any halogen bulb upgrade is likely to be futile. An after market xenon kit or retrofit is the only way.
