Hi i have only just joined after seeing an artical about your Forums in Mercedes enthusiast i wonder if anyone couild help i have just bought a 96 reg C200 when i brake i get knocking/thumping noise coming from the rear near side wheel, the ABS light is not on i would be greatfull for any help thanks.

This means that a disc was warped or is splitting, fairly easy job to replace the disc
