I was looking in the rear view mirror, totally oblivious to this tree falling. It hit the boot and rolled off, looking like one of those big brushes at the car wash as it span off. The impact was soft because of the leaves and branches.

The car behind had to stop and go around it.

No damage to me or the car.... phew...

I had one fall down in front of me just before Christmas. It missed me but sadly the guy behind didn't. Did a lot of damage to his car, and surprisingly none to mine.
Maybe trees like mercs? I noticed a squashed jag on the news.

And no damage! that was lucky, perhaps you should buy a Lotto ticket ;)
Good idea - I might get tree of 'em.

Only if you branch out a bit and stump up some cash.
Take a leaf out of my book and buy a chainsaw to do it yourself:D
Have 2 massive trees down at New Year in my back garden struck with lightning!!!!!!
