Hope I'm in the right forum. I just wanted to say hello, I've been lurking here for a couple of months so I thought I'd join, I'm running a C200 sport estate (1997) and I've had it for 6 years now (sorry I can't get the hang of the "W" numbers) I do about 30K miles per year and I can honestly say that this car is ****** wonderful!! I've got about 135K on the clock now and she still runs sweetly. I have never had a vehicle for more than 3 years in my life but I'm so pleased with this one that I'm hanging on to it!

For the best part they are very nice cars, when you think of the amount of them still running in the world, in Spain for instance the taxis do over
500.000km and still going strong, anyway what could you replace it with.
The only ones on this site are the few that do get problems and many of these faults are man made.

W = with it

The 'W' refers to the chassis type. The best of them all by popular vote was the W124, which ended circa '95 or '96 (especially the estate). It is said that after these, MB 'died'.
