Hello, I'm a car nut from Lincolnshire, and a few years back I bought a C32 AMG and I've thoroughly enjoyed it, until last year it decided to start really drinking coolant

Anyway, I'm here to ask for technical help - I've rebuilt a few cars over the years, I'm no stranger to tools, and I'm generally quite willing to offer the little knowledge that I have

Hello,yes the C32 AMG was really the top of the line when it was released, the sad part was the steel they bought at the time, not many left without rust of any of the cars made at that time from MB. Hope you have managed to keep it in good condition as a collector object for the future!

Yeah, I've noticed a bit of tinworm starting to show. It's mainly confined to wheel arches at the moment, but I'm planning to take a look unders the skirts to make sure there are no other places where it's getting bad

I have done alot of rust repair on W202, its not possible to keep it away because its not outside problem is, no mather how good threatment you do outside with paint it always comes back because it rust within the metal, particles in the steel. Many people have spent a fortune in new paint and after some years it starts all over.
