I am on another big Mercedes Benz forum and some of you may have come across me there but I thought I'd join another and so I will introduce myself. Stephen, 23 and driving a 2005 E220cdi.

I think its fantastic.

Welcome.
at your age I had a Ford Escort with a siezed brake caliper, a worn engine block and rather worrying rot. Didn't manage to get my first Merc until I was 31! Well done.

Thanks, I live with my folks so more of my hard earned can go on it than a lad who has a roof etc to put over his head.

I always wanted a Mercedes since I have been little, and finally I have been able to get one. Its more than lived up to expectations and in the 4 weeks I have had it I've put 1500miles on it driving it on rural roads taking in the best Scotland has to offer.

I thought I'd pop over here and say hello also :D :D

This forum is mainly of a technical nature, so they are both good to belong to

There seems to be a lot of familiar faces.....and few unknown folks.
Dont be fooled as some use different names. I use a total of 50 names, then I can put up questions that only I can answer, that boost my post count no end:D:D

Here's another one! When I was your age I was driving round in my dad's old Granada.

In fact, I still am! (It outlasted him, bless his soul).

That's a nice car you have there, I'm genuinely please for you.

Cheers.

Nice :D

Can't have all the older ones telling us how they had it so tough. I get that from my old man "when I was your age my pay just about covered my train fair to work"

At least I have never told my kids these things by the time I was 22 I had got through some 25 motor cars,, when my kids were small we had the garden full of the things

Welcome and nice car, but on that last pic it looks like the house is subsiding so I'd watch out for that.. ;)
