I just became the new owner of an 02 reg CLK200 Kompressor convertable and so far Im over the moon with it I part exd an Audi TT for it

yes its my first mercedes I love it so far ,after owning a TT I thought it woul have a lot to live up to but Im well impressed just need to sort out a loos rear view interior mirror

Get posting and see if you can catch Malcolm. You'll need to read up on MB's and diagnosis too...

Which TT did you have. Was it the all new one or the older one. I assume you had a proper quattro one (can't get the point of FWD audi's).

Every one fits in here very well, Just join in where ever you wish, we hardly ever need any moderators, maybe its the cars that does that

You can get a picture up and other things after 30 post or 6 weeks roughly

I had A year 2000 ttc 225 quatro and owned it for 4 years and in that time replaced the cam chain tensioner and timing belt and oil pump and a host of minor things , I had to get the diagnostic software and a workshop manual
I will have to get on the diy section and find out what manuals and diagnostic software it uses so that I can do my own repairs

Good morning and welcome. Sounds as though you are quite handy at doing your own work, so you will be among kindred spirits here. There are also those who keep on fixing it until it breaks.

I belong to the "leave well alone" school and generally, never see a competent mechanic for months on end. But we all enjoy talking about it - even if it is only our own recollections, or other people's current problems.
