Greetings. In the process of removing the old rear disc I had to pull out the shoes that look like that have cut a groove in the drum part of the old disc/s.
I bought a new set of shoes that comes with all the new shiny springs but I have been trying now for about three hours to get this back together.
I have tried several ways, installing the top spring next to the adjuster behind the shows then lower the shoes over the hub and trying to get that bottom spring to come across in front of the shows.
I have been swearing lots and moaning about this design.
My old Honda C50 (1978) had brake shoes and they were a doddle to replace.
This just seems like a nightmare to me.
Any input would be highly appreciated.
PS: There is one video of this on You Tube but it doesn’t show you them actually doing it, just the after installation shots.
