Help. 2007 CLS leaking M272.985 cgi.

Hello

Can anyone share the exact part for M272.985 cgi engine head gasket part?

i found small coolant leak under cylinder 2 which is in between spark plug and intake mainfold. Located in driver side for rhd side.

Part 200 in the link below.
The engine pictured will belong in a left hand drive model.
I believe parts are viewed from the front of the car looking back, so you would want a left side gasket.

I look up the part via my vin code and it shows a picture of non cgi variant. Does the non cgi variant head gasket is the same as cgi variant?

These aftermarket electronic parts catalogues are not infallible.
The link I gave is for the requested engine code M272.985.

If you have looked up the part according to your Vin#, that is usually the correct one, but if its a non Cgi variant, it would suggest your look up could be wrong.
Why not just take a note of your Vin# and go to your local Mercedes parts dept and get the gasket there, checking at the same time its suitable for a Cgi engine.
You'll not save much trying to buy a gasket outside of the main dealer anyway.

I couldnt find any gasket found in malaysia nor online. Most of them belong to non cgi version. Any idea why was the leak coming from on top of the exhaust mainfold?
