HELP!Alarm problem

HELP me please. I have a C-class ('00 W, is that 202?).
Anyways, recently it has been giving me trouble. Whenever it is locked whether just locked or has been locked for a while, it will give a silent alarm(hazards flash at twice speed). It is doing my head in.
Any ideas??

My tuppenceworth till an expert comes in - try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. This was the fix on mine when my alarm went daft. However I would point out mine hasn't got all the techy warning lamps etc. yours probably has.
Don't know if that would affect any of those!
