I can lock all the doors with the key, but the boot won't let me in key or plip.
Any assistance would be greatfully recieved.

Most likely boot lock has seized due to lack if use, lashings of WD-40 and key fiddling needed (of course this is easier to do when you can open the boot and allow gravity to help).

Mine was seized when I got the car, but not so badly that a few soaks and a bit of patient key fiddling couldn't revive it (others have not been sucessful though). I think you've just highlighed the importance of persisting though.

You can get into the car so you should be able to charge from under the bonnet - starter motor/solenoid would be a good place to start, otherwise the fuse box. You can trickle charge via the cigarette lighter (with a suitable adaptor).

Edit: Checked Haynes - Red cable (10mm2) on the Alternator, or Black(!!) (25mm2) on the Starter motor would seem a good place to charge, as both connect directly to the +ve on the battery (of course as soon as you connect the charger you should be able to unlock).

Open the bonnet and you could have a small black flat box on the passenger side with two terminals in it a + and a - joining a battery or 12 volts up here will enable you to open the boot via the remote, if you do not have this box then the thick wire on the starter motor with 12 volts.

If your ignition key will turn to 1, then a 12volt into the cigar socket will work as well

You should be able to get in the boot by turning the blade in the boot lock hard over while pushing in the button

It amazes me of how many people cannot get into the boot with the key
