Hi new to the site
I have had the normal SLK heater issue where the water holes block under bonnet and then flood the heater motor and resistor, I have fitted brand new heater and resistor and still have a issue, the motor now works but is going at top speed and adjusting the control knob makes no difference, I also know about the reset button as this model you can set it so the heater stays on for a set time after leaving car but what happens is the heater keeps going and you can not adjust it, eventually after about 10 mins it stops but if you open the car door it re starts without the ignition key in, the reset button does not make any difference so I wondered if there was a relay somewhere that is causing it to do this or due to water I have missed something
Thanks
