Hi all,
Please can someone kindly have a look at the pics attached and tell me how I can identify this fuel filter a little more.

I am trying to find out if it's the original fitted one from factory when new or an after market one since. There is no OEM Mercedes Benz logo on it. Just Bosch logo and lots of numbers on it, which I don't know how to identify it.

I've been to the Dealership but they didn't really have any answers. I was hoping the guru's on here might be able to help.

It's a 2018 GLC 250d

Thank you

Thanks for the misjudged response.
I never said I wanted a new one!?
The title and question is clear.. I know it says Bosch on it as you can clearly see that.

My question was.. How do I find out if it's the original from factory / and or is it an after market one? i.e. Is there anyway of identifying this from those numbers up on it.

The reason I asked the Dealership is because it's in for recall work and thought they might be able to tell.

Does this answer 'your' question ??
And yes I think you must be bored too...
RTFQ.... ; )

As said its Bosch...

There is no MB pn there

But to confuse you some more, MB dont make fuel filters, so all fuel filters are aftermarket. You may well find a "factory" filter will have Bosch or Mann stamped on it.

No need for allusion to agressive language.

This is what it should look like! I believe this is the correct part number as well 6A264954-D98C-48E2-8FB7-67643007E03F.jpeg

As said.. I knew it was Bosch, I said so on my post.. I never said it wasn't?
I just think you got wrong end of stick with the post.

All I'm trying to do is find out if it's the original one from new. i.e.could the numbers on it tell me somehow?

Chill out, that's not an aggressive response at all! 2D

Even gave smiley face ; )
