It could be due to uneven wear on your break pads, just open your front wheel on one side and check for any uneven wear on pads of discs. I wouldnt worry about it too much unless the pads or discs are cooked.

Also this kind of noises come when you use after market disc or pads instead of Mercedes parts.

hope this helps

Wheel bearing is not a squeak though, that would be very hard grinding noise. Also if it stops when you turn then it could the CV joint. do you ever get any clicking noise when you turning at all? i think you thinking too much into it, get the wheel off to make sure about breaks, other than that dont worry too much.

P.S when you have the wheel off, check for any oil leaks etc.

Breaks on mercedes can be slightly tricky so make sure you dont mess around too much with the break hoses. also dont go over excited with copper grease;)

good luck and let me know if you need any further help

Front brakes are easy enough on the A class, just make sure the pads mve freely in the caliper, before reassembly scrape all the crud off the caliper check the piston action on the caliper and use very litttle grease.
