I have recently noticed my s500 is leaking from the front left area of the car to the right of the wheel arch and slightly further back. The fluid, as far as I can tell is water but I cannot be 100% definite. There is quite a lot passing out and its a real concern for me as I will need to use for commutting plus garages require appointments and take a while.

a) Do you have any ideas of what it could be?

b) How could I solve the problem (I have filled my washer fluid and water tank, noticing that the water leakage increases when I do this).

All help appreciated! :D

Hi/

I assume you have a 220 s class. the leak you describe could be a broken headlamp washer unit if infront on the N/S/F wheel or if it is behind the N/S/F wheel it could be coming from the heater box . Make sure the drain is clear as this can be costly./

SL 500 want one and I want it NOW

Frankly Toady, I cant believe you even posted this!

I gave you the option to explain yourself here http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=2891 Seeing as you didn't bother to respond, I will take the trouble to enlighten others about your little ruse.

Toady = Obe1 = Tobyroland

Tobyrolands' signature belies the fact that he is sixteen years old, doesn't have a car and has already played readers here for a fool once too often.

The above post is clearly a play on the earlier post here http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=2939 He even gave you all a clue as to the answer by telling you that he just filled his washer fluid.

Why he plays these games, I have no idea but his repeated attempts at subtefuge and pathetic mind games suggest to me that he is a rather sad and lonely individual.

Hopefully you all read this post before mistaking any of Toady/Obe1/Tobyroland's posts for being sound advice.

Toady/Obe1/Tobyroland, dont bother to stick around unless you start being honest with people and quit wasting peoples time.

yes, but the car still exists so I don't really see what the problem is. Anyway thanks for the help. Dad took it round to his local mechanic last night who seemed to think it wasn't too serious-fixed it on the spot. Just hope this problem doesn't re-emerge as its costing a fortune to run at the moment, being in and out of the shop (tyres and some vandalism requiring respray).

The problem Toady is that you are masquerading as someone you are not.

You are handing out advice to people to whom you have lead to believe that you are the owner/driver of some very exotic machinery. To be in such a position, one could surmise that you have considerable life experience and a pretty clear head on your shoulders.

If you had made the very same posts but made your position clear from the outset, I dont think anyone here would have an issue with what you have said.

The fact that you have used three different identities in order to disguise the truth here suggests that you are well aware that what you are doing is wrong.
