i have a W123 w/ the power vaccuum lock on it, but they have not functioned since i bought the car.
this winter ive been locked out twice, where the locks freeze up- i cant even get the key in the driver's side and the passenger side (right side) doesn't turn, (it is usually a struggle anyway to get the passenger side opened when it isn't cold)
i am looking for some advice as to:
fixing the locks/vaccuum? and should this do the trick for the freeze out as well?
or should i look into replacing some of the mechanical parts of the lock so im not suck struggleing for over a half hour trying to get the car unlocked.
i tried the "de-icer" stuff to put into the locks, but that didnt seem to lossen anything up while i froze .....
there is also an interior leak(s) when it rains, both times it either rained or freezing rain the day/night before.... coincidence?
has this happened to anyone else?
suggestions are much appericated!!!!!!!!!!
