Help ML320 my2000 wont start!!!

my ml320 (163) my 2000 woke up and now wont start with BOTH keys , now one key does not operate the central locking. a fellow mercedes owner has a handheld tester , which he plugged in and the following DTC codes were found
1)p1570
2)p1703
he zapped them but they kept coming back , PLEASE HELP!!!!

hey there
i dont know too much about the problem you have with your ML bit new for me
i would see if you can find out what the codes mean there must be a problem with a part in the ignition/locking system
also probably worth trying fuses
i hope you get your car going
nothing worse than stuck without wheels

Google crank sensor always comes up as a non start fault on the yank sites.

Wife had a 98 w163 320 for just over a year and was quite a good car, had to replace brake light switch, due to esp,abs fault cost under a tenner.
Rear boot solenoid broke fixed with a self tapper, cost £0
Left hand exhaust cat split welded up by me , right bastard to get off cost £0.
