I just went outside after previously posting in relation to my ABS / ASR light being permanently on, and to my shock, the roof will now not come down off my SLK230?

Could they be linked?

All relevant procedures are in place for the roof to be removed, but the red switch is just flashing?

Help.....

Red light flashing usually means a fault. A weak battery, even with engine running can cause this in SLs.

Check all fuses also. Does it even attempt to open.

If it opens a bit (unclicks), it may be one of the two sensors on top of the windscreen.

Battery tested @ 12.5volts so a bit short on power. Just been out & ran it for 20mins.

It doesn't attempt to open it, no, but if you push it forward it's still making the noise as if it's completing?

Checked all fuses - OK.
