Hi all,
Doing a little bodywork on my 1993 190E at the moment.
For the most part taking all the trim off to re-finish (get rid of all those little bumps, scrapes and stone-chips) and also checking for corrosion (none found thank-goodness) then a thorough clean before waxoil and re-assembly. Nothing like the peace of mind knowing that all the parts you can't see on a 12 year old car are A1
. Original paint is still in pristine condition, a testament to the days of real MB build quality.
The one thing I need however is a replacement Cosworth boot spoiler as mine has some fine cracking of the rubber on the centre supports. I've had 2 sent to me from EBay so far and both had similar problems (evethough I was told they were perfect...). I can buy new from Euro Car Parts but would only go the way of aftermarket as a last resort.
Does anyone have a Cosworth boot spoiler in perfect condition or know who the best breakers are for this sort of thing?
