Help need with factory stereo connectors

Hi there,

I've just bought a Nov 94 E280 estate. I want to replace the terrible stereo thats in there but the wiring is a nightmare. Does anyone have any info on what colour is what from the original factory stereo connections.

I have found which are the speakers but there is a 4 wire connector which will be the power etc. and not sure which is which. Can anyone help.

Don't know the colours ,but it should be simple enough using a bulb or a test meter to determine the permanent live,switched live and lighting wires which are all you need along with a feed to the automatic aerial and an earth.
