Hello All:
In regards to my 2000 E320 Sedan, US version:
I noticed some "Crackling" noise from the left front door woofer. It became worse as I increased volume and finally stopped altogether.
To further check, I adjusted the Balance and Fade to each corner.
The left front seems dead now, The woofer and both tweeters (door and dash mounted) are silent.
It may be worth noting that all other corners are working properly.
My question is: Where is the final amplifier located?
I want to check the electrical connections first although I am a bit concerned that there may be a fault in the amplifier.
Any thoughts or suggestions are certainly appreciated.
