Help needed please.

Hi all.
I am new here but hopefully I'm doing it right. My son's mercedes a class on a 2006 plate has a pipe that keeps coming out. It loses power and sounds like the exhaust is blown. It pops straight back in but I'd obviously like to replace it. The previous owner said she thinks it's the turbo pipe but I'm not sure so wondered if anyone here knows please.

Does it not have a large jubilee clamp (or similar) to hold it on , or is it missing one ?
The pipe to the right has a zip tie on it , so some monkey has been bodging it ?

I can't get to the end that comes off, I mean, I can get to it but can't see it. Think I'll start taking bits of to get a better view

Turbo pipes are usually clamped (high pressure)

pop your vin into the likes of MB teile katalog when you know whats what to see if you are missing something or even before to figure out how it goes together / comes apart.

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions, today my mechanic said it's the egr pipe which obviously goes into the egr, however, because the pipe fits inside the egr and not over he has to contact Mercedes directly to see if the broken clips on the egr can be replaced or does it have to be the whole egr. I'm hoping that the bracket/clips can just be replaced but sod's law says it will need the whole thing.

As said look at the parts diagram on the website I suggested, you will soon know whats availabale seperate or not
