Thank you for that, I did try Mercedes but they worked out at £1200 each by the time I bought the bulbs, ballasts etc

Did you ask MB Grangemouth? Did they tell you which type they are?

From this comment, it appears the xenon rather than the ILS ones

Looking at the above I’d say that was the normal xenon type lights, as you say hi been assist rather then the ILS system.
Afraid it still a bit of a guess though and unless MBUK can tell you for sure you may have to just go for it, that said I can appreciate it’s a big chunk of money if it’s the wrong one.

Surely a VIN decode would tell...?

The one I tried said no data card available.
I can pm anyone the vin if they have a different app

Post 4 on Page 1 gives you 3 options to decode your VIN. 2 are Apps.

Put your VIN in this thread and we will do it for you. You haven't missed a digit by chance?

As in other posts MB Grangemouth can get you the information.

I’ve recently purchased a w213 e class that’s been damaged.
I’m hoping somebody can help me identify which headlights should be in the vehicle as they were stolen.

Thanks on advance.

Car is a 2016 w213 E220 D AMG premium
Send me your VIN, I can check

Well I’ve got to say thanks everyone who helped, I now have 2 headlights.
I can’t rate Mercedes Arnold Clark highly enough, even though they’ve relieved me of about £700 ( so far )

My last question for now is, does anyone know what should be here?
It’s running along the front bumper carrier

Can't say for certain, but there can be various sensors, like impact, Distronic and proximity around the front bumper area. Having said that, the wires look heavier than would be required for these, so I'm wondering if it could be something taking a larger current.

Sorry not to be more helpful, but somebody with WIS might be able to decode the colours.

You can do it yourself using this link that AMGeed kindly put up for us

https://www.datamb.com/

Or there is an Android app that Lost Kiwi kindly put up for us

MB Vin Decoder

And There is also an iOS app kindly put up for us by Srdl

By doing it yourself you learn more about your car.

There is also the online owners manual, here:

Jolly decent of you, keefysher, to draw my attention to all the possibilities. Sadly, at my age and state of health, I dither endlessly!

Should I put Srdl's iOS app on my iPhone? Or would it be better with Lost Kiwi's Android app on my laptop? Maybe I'll just explore the interactive owners manual in hope it mentions the button labelled M :)
