help needed

i own a fully restored 1983 380sec coupe but last night the local chavs decided they wanted to smash the grill out the fron so please does any one have a spare one and i am also after a set of descent mercades alloys for it and a look forward to spending abit of time chatting to like minded people on this site

Welcome to the forum Martyboy,sad to hear what happened to your car,there are some sad folk around. A village near me had 38 cars,badly damaged by vandals last week alone. Put your grill in the for sale and wanted section.

Interesting on the news tonight, the UK is bottom of 30 countries when it comes to vandals

prpbably been stolen to order, look on ebay, you might see it soon

I'd tend to agree. Not the sort of damage a vandal would spend their time doing when there is lovely paintwork and glass to go at. I suspect you are looking for someone with a pranged SEC! On teh upside at least the b'stard didn't gain from it - I assume the bit on the right is what's left of the grill.

Have you tried the dealers? It's the kind of thing they may have lying around at a sensible price. I always start with dealers before scrappers. Often the price difference isn't as great as you'd expect.
