Help on Command APS

OK guys, at last got my E270 CDI Avantgrade. Nice bright silver ext and black leather interior. Looks good, feels good. Had CLK for 4 years, quite happy with that too.

In this one, I got Command APS. MB said that the Traffic Master will be available soon (back in October 04). Any one knows if it is availabe now? If yes, how do I get it going? Apparently my DVD is OK.

Did not get the phone fitted. Unfortunately none fo the MB people answered properly when I rang aroung before buying, but reading the manual, if I had phone fitted, Bluetooth would have worked. Now that I have not got the phone fitted, any one knows if I can integrate Bluetooth with the Command APS?

Lots big questions :-

1 TMC been promised for years now lots of info should be avialable in next 12 months (no promise)

2 Phone :- you would have been well advised to have the pre wire option, there is no comparable retro fit but even with the full kit, blue tooth only workd to private head set. command is not blue tooth compatable

Not that i know what I am talking about. the comand in the slinkymobile has a bluetooth function. I dont have anything bluetooth but i assume by your post that it would send sound to and from a bluetooth compatible headset rather than having my dad listen to all the work collegues shouting obscenties at me over the speakers?

Traffic Master

OK, it has been 4 months since last post. Since then, I still have not seen any thing on TMC available. Heard on Radio that TM have signed contract with VW. Come on, when will my MB have this. At the time of placing order, MB said, should be by the time I get the car.

On the question of phone, at least would like to use the speakers mic in the car, interphase some how, and hopefully use the address book in command APS. Any one with any new idea?
