Help on identifying a part

In my boot, the area where the jack is stowed away, there is a small box 100mm x 75mm with some very fine wiring, has a part number A2088203526. I have googled this, and searched on EPC Net but cant find out what it dows, any clues?

Could be for the phone, the part numbers change for these things

ah yes, you could be right Theres nothing wrong with it, and i dont have a clue whats inside it lol, i just wondered what it was, and was more intrigued when i found out the part number appeard to not exist

I’m only guessing what it is as someone mentioned a similar device with liquid in it, turned out to be an anti-towing trigger for alarm.

You could test it by setting the alarm with the boot open and your finger on the boot light switch to fool the alarm, wait 30 seconds and then tilt it to see if it sets off the alarm. There may be a switch on the dash to de-activate it.

I think it is the anti tow device, as the box says "mount this way up"
