Was on my way back from work yesterday and someone cut me up so I pulled round him and planted my foot, so as to not be a witness to the accident he was well over due causing.
Anyway as I did this car started to pull then stopped no power and initially no EML the rest of the drive home car changed through gears fine but would not rev above 3000 RPM and no kick down.
This morning I went out bought myself a code reader and got code p0101, looked into this code and found it to be a MAF sensor with common faults being split airbox, air filter or MAF.
Replaced air filter which had only been changed in June but had split at the connector anyway and replaced MAF, cleared fault code and took it for a drive, car is still the same. I can't see feel or hear any ait leaks on induction side.
So was hoping someone on here might have some pointers save me having to stump up for garage costs.
