Hi everyone,

Hoping to get some clarity here and see if anyone else has this issue or ultimately if somebody with a professional opinion has an idea of whats going on..

When i am driving, even the slightest of bumps in the road will cause my audio to make a loud sound, the best i can describe it, is a loud sharp cracking noise, similar to if you were to break a really loud stick in half- after this happens, my music function will delay, for example: after this happens, if i turn the audio down, it will delay by like 5 seconds and then turn down. same with turning it up.

I went in and got my car checked out and its not my suspension/springs or anything like that as it all checked out to be fine. what makes this strange is that, I recently went in for a recall on the tech in the car, "Update 48V ISG Control Unit Software", after this update was made, the problem went away. Unfortunately it started happening again about 3 weeks later.

Also, everytime i restart up my car - the above said issue goes away. but if i hit a bump at the right speed (even if its 30mph) the crack noise happens and it sucks to have to deal with this..

Any suggestions would be amazing and welcomed.

Thank you,

You can do it, just try to rotate, lift or see if the + and - cables are moving, or you can disconnect them from the battery terminals free without unscrewing them
