I have a C Class Compressor 2008 , i recently had the joy of being clipped by a guy coming in the opposite direction as he was wiping codensation from his window and ended up my side of the road.

Basically i manged to put the mirror back in place but over the last week there has been condesation build up so i guess the indicator lense is cracked.I have worked out how to get the mirror out and i am guessing the motor is held in by the torque screws.Does the indicator lense pop out if the two pegs are pressed ? I just want to take it out and verify it is cracked prior to buying a new one cheers .

Hello All,

I wonder if someone would be good enough to send me information on how to open up the mirror on a W204 (MY2012). My indicator has stopped working (no error on dash) and probably as a result of the auto folding.

Also, can I ask if anyone knows where I might be able to get a workshop manual and parts listing for the car?

What about copy of WSM / Parts - can you assist or guide me there? I like to do as much DIY maintenance as possible. Not just about saving money, also find it soothing and good to know your car.

I've just ordered one now. Thanks again for your help. I managed to pull my mirror apart without damage. I found the actual LED flasher to be faulty, not the wires.
