Recently had windscreen, rear screen and both driver side windows of car smashed. Autoglass have replaced them, but last night during heavy rain the alarm went off twice. This hadn't happened prior to the smashing.

Can somebody advise what I can try please ?

Thanks,

Andy

A star will show what activated the alarm. It records it incase of problems.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Yes, it is a W reg C180 estate.

Interior lights seem to be a problem as well. If I switch them on manually they stay work, but don't come on and off with the doors opening and closing.

Where is the star that shows what's wrong ?

Cheers,

Andy

You may have a door contact switch probem. With the interior light fault you have.

Found the problem with the internal lights - my wife had gone out to the car when the alarm had gone off and the interior light was on. After she had reset the alarm she had pressed the switch on the overhead panel that disables the door switches. That's working OK now, just the alarm problem if anybody has any ideas....

Cheers,

Andy

Hi Guys,

Found out what the problem was with the interior lights. When the alarm went off (at 2am!) my wife went out and reset it. The interior light was on so she pressed buttons around it until it went off. She had pressed the on/off for the door switches. That's working now.

Any ideas about the alarm ?

Cheers,

Andy
