Help Please!!!

Hi,
I have a 51reg C Class 200k sports coupe.
Excellent car, never had a problem until I went out to it this morning and it was dead?
Turn the key and the the radio powers up but the engine won't turn over, nothing happens!!
Anybody got any ideas as to what the problem might be?
Any suggestions greatfully received.

Try the battery. It may have enough for low power items like the radio but not enough for the starter motor. I had the same thing myself.

I've just tried jump starting it and there's nothing, as soon as I turn the key the instrument cluster goes blank and resets the trip meter etc, also there's a constant buzzing under the bonnet as well?
In the mean time i've put the battery on charge.

thought it might be solenoid, looks like it'll be a phone call to mb in the morning.
