Help please!!!!!

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a 1997 e200 avantgarde Saloon. First I don't understand what the models numbers mean, w124 etc! Not sure what mine is. Also my bonnet release cable has frayed and snapped. Does the cable go from 1 into 2 to operate both latches or are the cables separate? Is the cable easy to fit? Any help much appreciated...

Your car is a 210,,, I am sure that I could print off the fitting for the cable but it is dead easy, you just undo the screws on the locks, take out the center screw on the handle and pull it out, yeas all 1 cable
