Help, I have searched but am struggling to find the answer.
I gave a 1995 w124 E220,
It has the green and red lights on the drivers door handle and boot, and the remote has ONE button which is both lock and unlock.
(and no lights on the interior mirror, that is a later system)
I cannot get my (now) two remotes to synchronise after I changed the batteries in them.
The manual states "briefly press transmittor button. Turn key to position 2 within 30 seconds"
It doesnt work!!!I have checked both remotes with a digital camera, so they are fine.
Has anyone been able to do this successfully, I am sure that the manual cannot be 100% correct and perhaps something was lost in the translation.
