Help required to find a wiring diagram

Does the right one work? If so cant you just hardwire in parallell from that one and it saves all the problem of wiring to/from sam etc and will be a free repair...

It does initially and then also stops working. And that's an Mot fail.

So you say that after you splice the original working light with a scotch lock so it takes power to the one thats fulty - that also goes out as well?. I had to do this for my caravan rear lights scotch locked all the wires to run the caravan lightibg set up.
