Hello guys,

Can anyone tell me if I can reset my rollover protection head rests they have gone off on their own, or is it a $tealer job.

Thanks

Lock the car. Leave it for an hour or so, unlock the car and then press the button to retract the headrests. Worked when mine went off over a nasty unseen speed hump!

Hello Malcolm,

I forgot to say it was a W208 model, I had been trying the head rest control button to no avail, then when Alfie replied, a penny dropped that a similar thing happened to my old M3 and it would only reset at ignition point 2.

Thanks Guys

Roll over head rests

I had the same problem and you can easily rester them (hopefully)

I am assuming that you have a button on the dash to electrically put them up and down.

Press the button to put the headrests down and hold it (may take about 30 secs) they should the be reset and go down OK.

Hope this helps, let me know.

George
