Hello guys, I have washed and decontaminated my car. I've applied bilt hamburg surfex hd to the lower third of the car then snow foam over so has more power to cut through the lower half. I've then contact washed the car. Then used tar and glue remover on the lower third of the car. Then used fall out remover lower third of car. Some of the spots went with a damp cloth I had wiped over. I don't want to clay bar yet as I'm not sure it will ruin the lower part. My issue is I can't go any further with the lower third of the car because there is literally **** on there that you can still feel with your hand afterwards. Please help me its a white C250 and I can't continue to polish, Wax etc as the paint needs work. Ive tried everything but I don't want to ruin the paint its so stubborn whatever it is.I Will post a photo tomorrow as it's rained here and needs a wash again.

Use a Meguiars clay mitt from Halfords. Very effective and easy to use with a lubricant.

I find if there is particulate stuck in tar, it requires a few repeat attempts of glue and tar remover, then fallout remover, then GTR again, then fallout remover again. This is especially prevalent on wheels. The first bit of tar is removed, exposing some brake disc material, which is then removed with fallout remover, allowing you to get the GTR back on to the tar, which exposes some more metal.

On particularly bad wheels, I've literally needed 10 or 12 applications to shift the worst bits via contactless method.
The other option is clay bar and then get to work with the polishing once contaminate free.

An old B-Class.
I've removed most of it with the tar remover but whatever it is it won't budge.
Once you are rid of teh tar etc Use a iron remover before claying. Carpro do one (e.g. as in the link but there are others) .
