Hi,
Reading lots of posts they seem to relate to stuck actuators of a single door or a door control module (is that single door?).

My issue is that out of the blue on an otherwise healthy car, this morning I noticed the passenger door mirror didn’t unfold upon unlock (drivers side fine on all counts). I then found that also the lock and windows are not operating. This is for BOTH the front and rear door on the passenger side.

SO;
Question 1 - how to I open those doors? As they won’t open manually from inside or out!

Question 2 - does a door control module operate just one door, or would it cover both front and rear? (As it seems unlikely that 2 would fail at the exact same time).

Question 3 - is there a fuse or other item I should check that would affect one whole side of the car?

Thank you for any help!

And now to make things more confusing, after 2 days of no power this afternoon whilst parked at the supermarket it suddenly decided to start working again!

Working on the basis that rules out a fuse, it’s gotta be something intermittent.

Any suggestions?

My money is on wire passing thru body to door issue and or door control module maybe one side passes from front to rear , main supply wise. Check all fuses for more clues to line that has issue

Thank you,
So if it goes again before I can repair it, how can I open the door? I would have thought the interior handle would do it but it didn’t.

Has your key got the detachable metal key in it.? If so you should be able to use that. When you get in make sure child locks are off.

I'm guessing, but would be surprised if the doors share a common feed.
But do they ground at a common point?

The passenger side door doesn’t have a keyhole on the outside?

Well the drivers side doors were working as normal, so I was able to enter and drive the car. But what I found was both passenger side doors having no power to locks, windows and wing mirror. Then using either the internal or external handles failed to open the door.
I’m assuming there must be some sort of power activated dead lock preventing it from opening.

I think it's likely a fuse you should have a leaflet in ur fuse box telling u what each controls. You may have 2 or 3 fuse boxes.

At first I would have thought it was a fuse, except that after a few days it went back to working as normal again - which rules out a blown fuse. That rather implies a bad earth or damaged wire.

Plus as the fuse panel is covered by the passenger door panel (end of the dashboard) when the door is closed, and the passenger door has no exterior key lock, and won’t open when the power to the door is gone. It would seem there would be no way to access the fuse nor open the door should the power fail again. Hence asking if there’s another means to open the door?

Does not rule out dirty fuse or fd door control unit. If fuse for door is can't be looked at with door closed that would be great design!!! Hope those fuses are somewhere else? Pure modern stupidity not to have a non electric way in, but frankly, it dont surprise me. Hope it starts working again and you can then dissconect lock until you fix it. Money on wires passing thru doors or door control unit, if? Front rear share a wire or 2, which is also stupid but not impossible design. I just can't be doing with all this kind of f drama on modern car electrics, yes without manual defaults f no!

My SLC300 used to do this once in a while, until I replaced the main battery and it never did it again.
