help with 320sl model year

i have a 320sl with avantguard green paint (1992) and a straight 6 engine. any ideas on the year of the this vehicle. when i vin decoded the car the year was unknown.

Does your 1992 refer to the paint or the car ?

The 320 engine was not launched until after 1992.
