help with panel lights

heater control lights not working ,,, how do u get to them???,, taken out centre consol but cant seem to manage to get upper wood dash out, do i have to take out cd player to get to the bulbs???,im sure the bulbs r loose as it goes on and of at random, was ok until i had sounds fitted last week..

Directly above the stereo (facing up) you will find there are two small screws holding the bottom of the panel in place. The upper part is held in place by two large nuts hidden behind the two main dials (which just pull off). Once done the wood trim will lift off.

Not particularly familiar with this modern metal!

If you are talking illumination for fan speed and circulation control (Knobs) then once you pull these off the bulbs are sitting in the end of the spindles.

If you are talking temp control (Wheels/Dials) then you will need to proceed as advised by Spike - once you get the wood off it is fairly obvious what you have to do - if its like mine then you will need at least 4 bulbs (2 knobs, 2 dials) - get them from the dealer before you start the job ( and a couple of spare ones for luck!)

Does anyone know how to get at the centre air vent bulbs?

Not to worry - I found well hidden behind switch panel .

It helped looking at night!
