Help with radio code for clk

Ive been given a radio code of 4117 for my Radio! But a little confused how you get to 7 if theres only 6 digits , And theres no manual with the car Any ideas please..

If you use numbers 1 to 4 only, will that work?
i.e, press 1, 4 times
press 2, once
press 3, once
press 4, 7 times

I take it this is an older CLK as the new ones do not have a code?

You can ring mercedes and they will supply the code for free, you will need to provide the chassis number or reg.

If its an audio 10 player i beleive you use the right hand knob and not the buttons,turning the knob reveals the numbers.

i have the same problem with the same radio but you cant turn the right hand knob it just pushes. i have a manual and i bought a cd off the internet telling you the codes but even that dont work - someone must know

Use one of the mobile guys for that, they can fit a new chip if needed on the set, most do not charge much

hi best way to get radio code from main dealer is to give them serial number of radio cos never know when radio was changed
