My name is john from Australia l am lucky enough to have purchased a Mercedes Benz 1980 380 slc l am looking for some help to find out the history of my car l do have all vin No etc but do not understand how the numbers all work it is a European car that has come to Australia many many years ago

Hello and Welcome, good luck with your search. I think Mercedes Benz Stuttgart might be able to say where the car went when it was sold new, after that it can become pretty much like looking for a needle in a hey stack.
