Check auxiliary battery also. Low voltage on this will disable Eco function.

Welcome

MBs don’t like low voltage so first thing to check is that the new battery is 12.6V engine off and circa 14.5V engine running and alternator charging. The current situation with a lot of cars sitting idle for days/week(s) isn’t helping modern cars do consume battery power to maintain systems when not in use so the car will need at least a 20 minute drive weekly to maintain the battery. Where did you source the new battery Varta are OEM and I won’t fit anything else nowadays. As said there may be a smaller consumer battery that may need replacement especially on a 12 plate car and this can throw up some faults but there is usually a dash indication that the consumer battery is malfunctioning in this case

I got it checked for the right one and fitted the Varta agm one. People saying it could be auxiliary battery or others saying it needs to be re-programmed due to changing battery.

of your car was agm battery prior then fine. if not then then not good.
They shouldn't be interchanged due the differences in charging cycles.

There is on mine . Maybe it's a one off?
Sits in the rear foot well behind the luggage net on the passenger side.
