Help!

Hi everyone,
I have a 2003 ml270 UK model what I have been having problems with, the battery kept going flat over night and after a new battery and a lot of hassle I found there was a short in the electric seat motor I removed the fused and problem solved, now tho my car central locking is not working and only first turn of ignition is working car won't turn over etc. If I disconnect the battery for 30 sec and reconnect the problem goes away but then happens again a couple times a day also clthe car will cut out sometimes but again disconnecting and reconnecting the battery solves the issue, does anyone have any ideas?

Could be anything from a bad earth to a faulty sam or eis, you will need to have the codes read using star.

Might be a bit of a hike, but Alex Crow in Stowmarket has been recommended in the past.
