Hi Guys,
Just a quick question ,I had to pay for new seals due to leak in the boot and getting everythind dry at a cost £ 875 and just paid £650 to have a drain line cleared under the bonnet and electrics checked heater etc.
But back to my question I am thinking of writing a letter to MB about all these costs and that the car just been out of warranty, and I am wondering has anyone had any joy with MB after writing a letter.

Hi Malcolm,
Get all the details in the morning when I pay the bill, got the car back last Friday and a few days before that informed me better to buy new carpet for £800 I told them no I would dry myself, when I picked the SL up I felt the carpet and it was dry, not wet,not damp just dry??? this is why I have lost my trust in MB dealers.

I am finding out that they are very un helpful when it comes to an SL.

Mine was in last week to have a keyless go card programed, that is done on Star diagnosis. I asked them to check two other things while it was hooked up, and it came back without checking them, only to be told that it has to go in as a seperate job. How ****** stupid is that, all they had to do was go into a different menu. It will now cost another £100, no way, I will buy my own Diagnostic tester.

By the way I now have a super set of technical papers of info stuff on the 230,if there is anything that you ever want to know, just ask, you are the first one with the same car that I can share this info with.
