Help!

My CLK 2.3 Komp battery went flat and we've got the battery on charge no problems but when attempting to access the boot to re-install battery the boot lock will not open.
We've read the Manual a thousand times but with no luck used the Mech' key still no luck can anybody suggest something really quick, please

Have called our breakdown service who will be here in under an hour but they will not be merc techies - is there something we need to know?

Problem is that this thread has not finished - one of my issue's was not sorted, its the windows don't operate correctly, they go down but not up again? So by removing the number of links that formed part of the answer had a question still to be resolved.
So if you would be so helpful and reslove this issue then its clearly up to me to close is it not?

simple enough, your windows need re calibrating,
press your switch up, but only apply light pressure, when it reaches the top press and hold down switch in the up position, this time press the button completely, hold for 5 seconds, hey presto your windows should operate fine now.
