the BAS ASR warning light has come on in my E230 p reg wot does it mean and is it a costly repair thanks

brake light switch

hi thanks for the advice where is the faulty switch located and could i fit it myself thanks

It is on top of the deal ass: just remove the kick panel under the dash.
