Just browsed through that.

The guy seems pretty dedicated doesn't he :)

Hoping for 700 HP out of a 300. By the looks of all the preperation he may not be far out.

You're not wrong - fantastic. I guess he's retired and has all the time in the world.
Can't wait.

Its a different world in Sweden, some very clever guys out there. this guy even does his own welding, and makes a super job of that.

The old question...

BTW any other thoughts on the M111 kompressor engine in a w124 plan?

Hi Bruno,
what is wrong with a nice original M103 engine instead of a M102? If you want to save fuel .... you know what I would like to say now :)) ..

If you are going to fit a M111 engine you need all the wiring and ECU's also to fit with the rest of the car. It can be quite difficult ..

The electronic system (mega squirt) he used instead of the original KE Jetronic is also quite nice. Many parameters you can be set up now. Worth a try..

On the other hand it is not expensive to get a nice W124 320 Coupe. A good engine after the wiring harness is replaced .. lol..

Best Regards,
Oliver

Okay tell me if I am being naive but I won't mind a 320 but I would want one with low miles <= 50K which would be about £9000 - £10000 painful.

Would dropping an M111 low miles engine and gear box from a scrapyard as is in to my 124 be as costly monetarily and otherwise?
