Lovely car, well done! Just to repeat what @Wighty said about brake hold - when you have stopped, you need a further little “stab” on the brake pedal and “HOLD” should appear on the dash. It took me a little while to get the right technique on my first Merc but soon becomes second nature.

PS - you need to change your profile details because it is still saying “C250”.

Thanks for pointing that out . Think im just gonna de-badge the tailgate completely tbh

Good plan, the number plate does need sorting and any holes into the tailgate filling, there should be 4 holes drilled that you can screw a number plate holder to. Failing that stick the plate on with the adhesive pads going over the holes

So I figured the "hold" out .
Turned out I wasn't pushing the brake hard enough haha
