Hey , don't know where to turn now, how would I go about get this looked at ? And the next thing that's been happening is my boot open light came on even when I know the boot is not open! Any suggestions?

Thank you, and that's a shame as it keeps happening to mine, it's old but shouldn't be happening, it's Mercedes lol!

Tell us the engine type and we may be able to help further. Reasons for petrol and diesel engines shutting off are different.

Hi , it's diesel engine model c200 cdi se auto ,2007 can be driving and suddenly beep then completely shut down , if I am at speed some time it will restart with foot on gas !!

Welcome, no never happened to me in 53 years of driving. You need to get the codes read & see what the faults are.

Welcome, all sounds rather peculiar- like others never had it, never want it either TBH
Needs proper diagnostic with Star (Mercedes or Mercedes Independent garage)

I would concentrate on fuel delivery as a first step.
When was the fuel filter last changed, for instance?
