Hi, everyone, I hope you are all good.
I would like to ask for a quick Q.
Thanks to whoever bothers to reply.

Is it OK if you remove the main battery while the ignition key is on but the engine is turned off?
I have W211, 2003 E270.

Hello and welcome,

Why would you want to do that? There will be an electrical load from all the items switched on by the key being on. You might get away with it but it isn't something I'd recommend doing.

Welcome to the forum,

This is school boy basics, ensure device (enter whatever device you want) is switched off before removing the power. I think I have read that in EVERY manual i have looked at.

...but glad nothing is damaged.
